Summary
ORYX GTL is hiring a Facility Maintenance Assistant in Qatar to coordinate facility repairs and maintenance across civil, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and other building systems. The role includes resolving contractor issues, reviewing accomplishment reports, administering contracts and monitoring preventive maintenance schedules for systems such as lifts and generators. The assistant will own the Permit to Work system in the secondary area and represent the asset Manager, while supporting safety, quality and environmental compliance. Applicants need a high school diploma, a relevant diploma or trade background, 5–6 years of similar oil and gas experience, and familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office.

Job Purpose:
Coordinate facilities’ maintenance activities including repair, modifications, alterations, maintenance of civil, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing as well as other related building systems by resolving contractors’ issues, preparing and reviewing accomplishment reports and ensuring HSE requirements are incorporated. Is responsible for the ownership of Permit TO Work (PTW) system at ORYX GTL secondary area and act as a representative to asset Manager.
Minimum Qualification:
- High school Diploma.
- Diploma in Business Administration or related field (mechcnical/electrical trades, HVAC, plumbing).
Minimum Experience:
- 5 - 6 Years of experience in a similar position in the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Familiar with preventive and corrective maintenance procedure.
