Field Service Mechanical and Tiling Specialist – Large Frame Gas Turbines

A Snapshot of your day

Your day involves performing hands-on installation, overhaul, and maintenance of gas turbines, ensuring all major components, including combustion chambers and burners, are serviced and assembled to the highest quality standards. You will troubleshoot, inspect, and execute critical maintenance activities to maximize turbine reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Adhere to the highest Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, including confined space entry and working-at-height requirements.
• Perform maintenance and refurbishment of combustion chamber components, including burners and ceramic tiles.
• Assemble and disassemble gas turbine frames, casings, and associated components (2000E and 4000F models).
• Interpret and work from technical documentation such as engineering drawings, technical instructions, P&ID diagrams, and test records.
• Conduct equipment inspections, document maintenance activities, apply corrective measures, and support lifting and rigging operations while following Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) procedures.

What You Bring

• Minimum 3 years of field service experience in power generation, including maintenance of prime movers and gas turbine equipment.
• Perform maintenance, refurbishment, assembly, and disassembly of 2000E and 4000F gas turbine components, with turbine tiling experience considered an advantage.
• Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools and hydraulic tightening equipment (Hytorc/ITH), with experience in breakdown maintenance preferred.
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multicultural, international teams.
• Holds a Mechanical Engineering technical qualification is results-driven and self-motivated, and is willing to travel extensively, work abroad, and support shift operations.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
