Overview
Asia Asia Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead the overall operation and performance of the venue.
This is a senior leadership role for a commercially driven hospitality professional who combines strong operational expertise with a genuine passion for guest experience, team development, and delivering exceptional service standards.
As General Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the venue's financial performance, operations, people, guest experience, and brand standards, while working closely with the wider group to drive continued growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of Asia Asia Abu Dhabi and ensure consistently high standards across all areas.
- Drive sales, profitability, labor, F&B cost, and overall financial performance against budget.
- Deliver an exceptional and consistent guest experience in line with Asia Asia brand standards.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing hospitality team.
- Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, succession planning, and staff development.
- Maintain strong operational controls across cash handling, inventory, purchasing, wastage, and payroll.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, UAE regulations, HACCP, health and safety, and licensing requirements.
- Maintain the highest standards of food, beverage, service, cleanliness, presentation, and venue maintenance.
- Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with Group Operations and support departments including Finance, HR, Purchasing, Marketing, IT, and Facilities.
- Lead management meetings, monitor performance, and ensure agreed actions are delivered.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a General Manager or senior operational leader within a premium restaurant, hospitality, or high-volume F&B environment.
- Strong commercial and financial understanding, with experience managing budgets, labor, and operating costs.
- Excellent leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to build and retain high-performing teams.
- A strong understanding of premium service and guest experience.
- Confident, hands-on, and highly visible leadership style.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
