Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and manage GIS databases, maps, and geospatial datasets for engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Perform spatial analysis, georeferencing, mapping, and cartographic activities to support project planning and decision-making.
- Produce high-quality 2D and 3D visualizations, animations, and digital models for infrastructure, urban development, and capital projects.
- Integrate GIS data with BIM, CAD, and engineering models to support design coordination and project delivery.
- Convert and manage geospatial data across multiple formats (Shapefile, KML, GeoJSON, GML, CAD, SDE, etc.).
- Create interactive maps, dashboards, and visualization products for project teams and stakeholders.
- Support engineering, planning, and project management teams with accurate spatial analysis and reporting.
- Integrate land survey and field-collected data into GIS platforms.
- Ensure GIS data quality, consistency, and compliance with project standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative geospatial and visualization solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Engineering, Geography, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in GIS, preferably within engineering, construction, infrastructure, or capital projects.
- Strong experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Pro, MapInfo, or similar GIS platforms.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM-GIS integration.
- Experience in spatial analysis, geospatial database management, and GIS data visualization.
- Hands-on experience with data conversion and integration between GIS, CAD, BIM, and various geospatial formats.
- Strong understanding of coordinate systems, map projections, and geospatial data standards.
- Experience with 3D GIS modeling and visualization using tools such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcScene, ArcGlobe, or equivalent platforms.
- Knowledge of land surveying principles and integration of survey data into GIS environments.
- Experience creating professional 3D animations, fly-throughs, infrastructure visualizations, and project presentations using tools such as 3ds Max, Lumion, Twinmotion, Unreal Engine, Blender, or similar visualization software.
