Purpose and Scope of Position:
The Instructor (PGA)aims to redefine the way people learn to play golf by leveraging the fun and interactive technology. PGA certified Golf Instructor help students develop and practice the fundamentals of their golf swing in a fun, low pressure environment with the facilities provide at the venue to improve the Guests performance.
Main Duties:
(Job Related Duties)
- To deliver a first class teaching service, with all type of guests across a wide range of clientele.
- Provide individual and semi-private lessons.
- Able to manage and maintain a coaching diary
- Utilize swing analysis technology (if available), learning theories, and integrate teaching aids
- Schedule and execute Guest lessons
- Work with all types of Guests (juniors to avid golfers) to provide appropriate lessons
- Walk the Tee Line on all levels during peak times (when not engaged in golf instruction)
- Grow the golf services platform at the venue, through marketing and community outreach
- Assist in execution of leagues, tournaments and/or player development series
- Assist in management and execution of summer camps (e.g., Topgolf Academy)
- Assist with club repair and general maintenance of golf equipment
- Work with the events team to promote lessons at events
- Help with events, such as game explanations, hosting and lessons
- Assist with program marketing and community outreach
- Run leagues, members events and other tournaments on the Teeline
- To provide support to Senior Academy Leadership for leagues set up and for all aspects of hosting the league from marketing, to sales, to execution
- To be aware and demonstrate Topgolf Mission, Vision and Core Values. Will be responsible to apply the 4 Service Targets throughout serving internal and external customers.
2. Ancillary Duties:
In line with the Club’s strive for continuous improvement, you may be requested to participate in various extra activities contributing towards individuals and organizational growth.
Represent the department or a group in various committees, such as the Staff Committee, Green Theme (environmental), Food Committee, Sport Committee or projects. Be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider.
3. Quality Responsibilities:
Aware of Dubai Golf Mission, Vision and Values. Will be responsible to apply the 4 Service Steps throughout serving internal and external customers.
4. IT Security Awareness:
- Read, Understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl DG.
- Co-operate, co-ordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
- Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.
- All Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the IT Service Desk.
