Job Objective:
Own brand, demand generation, lifecycle marketing, customer journeys, NPS, segmentation, customer insight, campaign ROI and acquisition cost efficiency.
Job Specifications:
Strategy and leadership
Set the marketing strategy and annual plan, aligned with company revenue and growth targets.
Own the marketing budget and allocate spend across channels by CAC, payback and LTV.
Build, hire and develop a high-performing team; manage agencies and freelancers.
Act as the marketing voice on the leadership team and report results to the board.
Growth and acquisition
Run full-funnel acquisition across paid search, paid social, affiliates, partnerships, referral and app store.
Own funnel metrics from first touch to activation, first transaction and retention.
Build lifecycle and CRM programs (email, push, in-app) that lift activation, engagement and cross-sell.
Run a disciplined test-and-learn program with clear hypotheses and attribution.
Brand, positioning and communications
Define positioning, messaging and brand identity that make stc pay Bahrain trusted and distinct in a crowded market.
Lead PR, thought leadership, social and community, including launches and crisis communications.
Oversee content and SEO that educates customers on financial topics and drives organic growth.
Product marketing
Partner with Product to take new features and products to market: research, pricing input, launch plans and sales enablement.
Develop customer insight through research, segmentation and competitive analysis.
Compliance and risk
Ensure all campaigns meet financial promotion rules, consumer protection and data privacy requirements, working closely with Legal and Compliance.
Put in place approval workflows so speed never comes at the cost of regulatory risk.
Qualification & Experience:
10+ years in marketing, including 4+ years leading teams, ideally in fintech, banking, payments or another regulated consumer or B2B tech business.
Hands-on command of performance marketing, lifecycle/CRM and marketing analytics (attribution, cohort analysis, A/B testing).
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field; MBA a plus.
Fluency in Arabic & English
