Position Overview
The Regional Merchandising Manager for is responsible for driving the merchandising strategy and business performance across the HUB, ensuring alignment between WW and EMEAI objectives and local market needs.
Acting as the key link between Stores, HUB Leadership, and the EMEAI Merchandising team, this role oversees buying activities, assortment optimization, and product performance across the HUB. The position requires a deep understanding of the business, market dynamics, and client expectations to maximize sales, profitability, and the overall client experience.
The role also serves as a strategic partner to all regional functions, fostering strong collaboration across Retail, Clienteling, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising to deliver a consistent and commercially successful execution of the brand strategy.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the merchandising strategy and execution across the perimeter
• Own and oversee buying activities, ensuring assortments reflect local opportunities while remaining aligned with global and EMEAI strategies.
• Monitor business performance, identify opportunities and risks, and define actions to optimize sales, productivity and ST% (i.e. Stock re-balancing within the hub or outside)
• Monitor BOH efficiency
• Act as the primary merchandising contact between stores and the EMEAI Merchandising organization.
• Maintain a strong understanding of business trends, client behavior, competitive activity, and market dynamics across the market
• Provide business insights and recommendations to regional and EMEAI leadership
• Partner closely with Store Managers and Retail leadership to maximize business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Clienteling team to translate customer insights into merchandising actions.
• Partner with MarCom to promote push products through all key contact
• Partner with Visual Merchandising teams to ensure product presentation supports both brand and commercial objectives.
• Foster alignment and collaboration across all regional functions to ensure excellence in execution.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of merchandising professionals.
Key Qualifications
• Significant experience in Merchandising, Buying, or Retail Management within a luxury or premium retail environment.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions and management levels.
• Experience managing teams and developing talent.
• Strong knowledge of luxury retail, client behavior, and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Availability to travel frequently across the markets and in HQ for buying activities
