Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and responsible heavy vehicle driver to join our dynamic operations team. As part of our team in Head Office - Dubai, you'll work in a HYBRID environment, ensuring safe and timely staff transportation in alignment with the needs of our organization. This position requires a professional approach, strong knowledge of UAE roads, and the ability to handle shift-based schedules efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy vehicles to transport staff between designated locations for shift pickup and drop-off.
- Ensure all driving activities comply with company and UAE road safety regulations.
- Utilize GPS and route planning applications to optimize trip efficiency and punctuality.
- Daily inspection and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and maintenance as per company protocols.
- Report any traffic incidents, vehicle defects, or delays promptly to supervisors.
Must have requirements
- Minimum 5 years of driving experience, specifically within the UAE.
- Proven experience operating heavy vehicles in a professional capacity.
- Valid UAE driving licenses numbers 3 and 6.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UAE road rules and traffic regulations.
- Ability to efficiently use GPS navigation systems and mapping applications.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
Nice to have requirements
- Experience in staff transportation or corporate shuttle services.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for emergency vehicle troubleshooting.
