Skills Description
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, ICT or a relevant subject, together with a recognised teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching ICT and/or Computer Science at secondary level, with the ability to teach KS5.
Experience delivering A Level Computer Science or an equivalent post-16 qualification would be advantageous.
A strong understanding of curriculum planning, assessment and examination requirements at KS5.
The ability to deliver engaging, challenging lessons that develop students' computational thinking, programming, problem-solving and digital literacy skills.
A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning, enabling students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, extracurricular programmes and community engagement.
