Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical authority for all landscape-related matters on the project
- Review and approve landscape designs, drawings, and specifications submitted by contractors and consultants
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental requirements, and Saudi standards
- Provide guidance on softscape and hardscape design, including plant selection, irrigation systems, and urban furniture
- Conduct site inspections and quality audits to verify contractor compliance with design intent
- Review and approve RFIs, submittals, and design modifications related to landscape works
- Coordinate with civil, irrigation, and architectural teams to ensure seamless integration of landscape with overall project design
- Review and validate landscape construction methodologies and installation sequences
- Oversee irrigation, drainage, and soil management systems in collaboration with relevant disciplines
- Provide input for value engineering, sustainability, and cost optimization
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure quality standards are met
- Support project handover with as-built documentation and maintenance guidelines
- Mentor and guide junior landscape engineers and architects within the PMC team
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Design
- Minimum 4 years of experience in landscape design and supervision on major road, highway, or infrastructure projects
- Strong experience in PMC or consultancy role
- Knowledge of local Saudi landscaping standards, irrigation practices, and environmental guidelines
- Excellent coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience in sustainable and aesthetically functional landscape design
