As a Project Engineer - You will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring all mechanical installations on site — including HVAC, chilled water systems, fire suppression, domestic water supply, drainage, and building management systems — ensuring full compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and UAE regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect mechanical works, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems, at various stages of construction.
- Ensure all mechanical installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable local authority regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and witness testing and commissioning activities.
- Identify non-conformances, prepare inspection reports, and monitor corrective actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure timely resolution of technical and quality issues.
- Review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and inspection requests.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare periodic progress and quality reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical inspection / supervision.
- Background within consultant or supervision firms in the UAE.
- Proven experience on high-rise towers and residential building projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, fire suppression, plumbing, drainage, and BMS.
