Overview:
We are looking for a talented and forward-thinking Motion Graphics Designer to bring our creative vision to life across digital channels. The ideal candidate combines strong design fundamentals with advanced animation skills and a passion for innovation—especially in integrating AI tools into the creative workflow. This role requires both artistic flair and technical precision, transforming ideas into captivating visuals that elevate our brand storytelling across social, video, and digital platforms.
What You’ll Do:
-Conceptualise, design, and create high-quality 2D and 3D motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for a variety of digital platforms (social media, web, video content, presentations, etc.).
-Actively research, test, and implement AI/Generative tools (e.g., AI image generators, video synthesis, or advanced machine learning-based VFX tools) into the motion graphics workflow to optimise production, generate unique assets, or explore new creative directions.
-Animate graphics, type, and visuals, manage project files, and edit/refine animations based on internal and stakeholder feedback.
What We’re Looking For:
-Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer, demonstrated by a strong and diverse portfolio of work.
-Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro. Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.
-Hands-on experience and a strong understanding of how to effectively utilise AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Runway ML, or similar platforms) for asset creation, concept generation, texture/background creation, or video effects.
-Exceptional understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
-Strong grasp of the 12 principles of animation, pacing, timing, and rhythm.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate design rationale and present ideas effectively.
-Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have:
-Experience with 3D software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, or similar) is highly desirable.
