Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
To develop, coordinate and maintain detailed plumbing BIM
models for building construction projects, ensuring accurate, coordinated and
constructable plumbing systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop detailed plumbing BIM models using Revit
MEP based on approved drawings and specifications.
2.
Coordinate plumbing models with architectural,
structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
3.
Perform clash detection and assist in resolving
coordination issues using Navisworks.
4.
Prepare and update plumbing shop drawings and
coordinated BIM deliverables.
5.
Model drainage, water supply and associated
plumbing systems accurately.
6.
Review plumbing layouts for constructability and
identify coordination issues.
7.
Coordinate with engineers, consultants,
subcontractors and site teams to resolve BIM-related issues.
REQUIREMENTS
· 5+ years of UAE/GCC experience in BIM modelling
for plumbing systems.
· Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks and
AutoCAD.
· Strong knowledge of plumbing shop drawings and
coordination drawings.
· Experience in clash detection and
multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
· Experience coordinating with mechanical, electrical
and structural BIM teams.
· Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering
or related field.
