About the Role
BEC Arabia is seeking a highly skilled PMV - Maintenance Foreman to join our Logistics Department in Khobar. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet of heavy equipment, machinery, and vehicles that are essential to the success of our large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance and repair operations for a fleet of heavy equipment, vehicles, and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy equipment and vehicles.
- Supervise a team of technicians and mechanics, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety standards, including OSHA and ISO 45001 requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to align maintenance schedules with project timelines.
- Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and other relevant regulations.
- Report on maintenance KPIs, including equipment availability, repair turnaround times, and cost efficiency.
- Support the implementation of digital tools for maintenance tracking and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in heavy equipment and vehicle maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
- Familiarity with OSHA, ISO 45001, and other safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in NEBOSH or other safety management programs.
- Experience with ARAMCO-approved vendor standards.
- Familiarity with digital maintenance platforms and IoT-based equipment monitoring.
