  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan units of work, share best practices, and maintain curriculum continuity.

  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ progress and well-being.

  • Participate in co-curricular activities, school events, and relevant committees.

  • Uphold GEMS Education’s core values and school policies at all times.

  • Promote cultural awareness, resilience, and a genuine love of learning in all students.

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic teacher who can make a positive contribution to our school community throughout the maternity cover period.

Skills Description

  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree and recognised teaching certification/licence.
  • Strong understanding of the use of ICT in education to enhance learning and engagement.

Skills & Attributes

  • A committed and skilled classroom practitioner with high expectations for student learning and behaviour.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A reflective practitioner who embraces continuous professional development.
  • Flexible, positive, and able to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Experience

  • Minimum of two years’ teaching experience in a relevant subject area and age group.
  • Previous experience teaching the National Curriculum for England is highly desirable.
