Key Responsibilities
- Lead system integration activities for complex Defence Communications and C2 systems.
- Integrate hardware, software, networks, and infrastructure across air, land, maritime, and joint environments.
- Define and manage system interfaces, interoperability, and interface control documentation.
- Lead integration testing, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and operational readiness activities.
- Support platform integration trials, field deployments, customer demonstrations, and interoperability testing.
- Work closely with engineering, cybersecurity, networking, customers, suppliers, and platform teams.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in Systems Engineering/System Integration within Defence, Aerospace, Security, or mission-critical environments.
- Proven experience integrating complex hardware, software, and distributed systems.
- Experience with platform integration, operational environments, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Skills
- Defence Communications, C2/C4ISR, and Mission Systems.
- Networking, TCP/IP, UDP, routing, messaging, and OSI-layer communications.
- System interoperability, interface management, and Systems-of-Systems integration.
- Network/system test tools such as MATLAB and Simulink.
- Troubleshooting, integration testing, technical problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of MBSE, simulation environments,communications, and defence standards is desirable.
