Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, process, and distribute Purchase Orders to suppliers and relevant departments.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, product specifications, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Review invoices and receiving reports to ensure quantities, pricing, and other details align with approved Purchase Orders.
- Monitor procurement schedules and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain effective vendor communication and assist in resolving routine procurement discrepancies.
- Assist with CAPO, change orders, bid requests, and other procurement-related documentation.
- Monitor market prices, product availability, and supplier information to support informed purchasing decisions.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Purchase Officer to ensure smooth daily procurement operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: University degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar role.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Key Competencies: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
