AD Ports Group is seeking a Procurement COE Specialist in Abu Dhabi to support improvements to procurement strategies, processes and practices. Support to drive excellence in procurement processes, strategies and practices aiming to achieve procurement objectives.
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
Responsible to implement strategic initiatives aiming to enhance procurement effectives and efficiency.
Support in optimizing end-to-end procurement processes, strategies and practices with regards to purchase requisitions and contracts management and recommend enhancement to the current workflow.
Update procurement user guides, manuals and scope of works for completeness and consistency.
Ensure to effectively utilize procurement technologies to streamline processes, enhance visibility and minimize discrepancies.
Identify and assess risks associated with procurement processes while implementing the appropriate mitigation plans.
Conduct a research and a benchmark to analyze procurement best practices and elevate the current processes.
Track supplier performance and address problems and concerns for maximum efficiency.
Handle the registration and prequalification of contractors and suppliers who are not already qualified in the Commercial Directory.
Carry out and maintain the database of contractors and suppliers qualified by AD Ports Group in the Commercial Directory.
Qualifications
Educational and Technical Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
Language Skills:
High level of proficiency in English; working knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable.
Years of Experience:
A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a similar role
Nature of Experience:
In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations and industry standards.
Ability to understand strategic issues and hold an overall perspective of the organization.
