Job-Specific Accountabilities
Digital Strategy & Roadmap
- Support the development and upkeep of Procurement's digital and analytics roadmap, aligned with corporate objectives
- Monitor progress against the roadmap and raise delays or risks with the Procurement Excellence Manager
Digital & Systems Management
- Support Procurement as the ERP subject matter expert, coordinating with Technology on system configuration, utilization, and continuous improvement
- Support the identification and implementation of automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
- Facilitate adoption of digital tools and analytics solutions across Procurement, including change management support during system transitions
- Support the development of business cases for procurement technology enhancements and digital investments
Data Governance & Quality
- Monitor data quality across procurement systems, including vendor master data, and coordinate corrections with relevant stakeholders
- Review procurement reporting outputs for accuracy, consistency, and visibility before release
Analytics & Insights
- Support the development and enhancement of centralized analytics and reporting capabilities across Procurement, including spend analytics
- Support Category Managers with data-driven insights to inform category strategy and value creation initiatives
- Coordinate the upkeep of knowledge repositories, including benchmarks, category insights, and best practices
Performance & Reporting
- Support the design and upkeep of procurement performance dashboards covering savings delivery, operational performance, and compliance indicators
- Support the definition and upkeep of procurement performance and excellence metrics, and monitor results across cycle times, spend under contract, contract coverage, and SLA adherence
- Coordinate with Finance on savings tracking and validation, applying the approved savings methodology consistently
- Review compliance and governance reporting metrics ahead of leadership reviews and audits, and flag gaps or inconsistencies
Continuous Improvement
- Monitor emerging digital tools and analytics practices, and support the assessment of potential enhancements to procurement capabilities
