- Practical knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools and implementation (5S, Kaizen, waste reduction, process improvement, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Responsible for plant operations and personnel activities for production output.
- Responsible to ensure production as per customer specifications.
- Responsible for on time delivery of products.
- Responsible to ensure inventory stock.
- Responsible for equipment maintenance.
- Responsible for quality control checks.
- Responsible for implementation of production line methods.
- Responsible to ensure adequate manpower to avoid hindrance to production.
- Responsible to manage human resources at floor level.
- Plan, direct, regulate and coordinate functions at the shop floor.
- Do quality checks to ensure manufacturing of products in accordance with cost, quality and quantity specifications.
- Do material and manpower planning.
- Supervise work activities to ensure personnel are working properly and safely.
- To feed data in computer for plasma cutting with QC checks.
- Communicate with customer for deviation/clarification if any.
- Maintain tag list and production documents.
