Job Description:
Project Coordination Engineer (UAE National)
Abu Dhabi - UAE
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Coordination Engineer - Emirati National to join our team! In this role you will get to Project Coordination Engineer ( site) - Emirati to support the CS team in administering the operational functions of the day-to-day activities on the project with respect to enabling works & infrastructure works.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP teams.
- Assist in reviewing drawings/models to identify clashes and issues.
- Prepare and update coordination drawings, logs, and reports.
- Attend coordination meetings, record minutes, and follow up on actions.
- Support review of shop drawings and material submittals for compliance.
- Coordinate with site teams to gather technical data and as-built information. Report to the Resident Engineer and assist in coordinating the construction of roads and infrastructure works and associated items.
- Coordinate with Parsons' design engineers for resolution of related issues.
- Maintain the daily diary and the daily reports by the inspectors.
- Coordinate with the contractor engineers on scheduling and application of resources.
- Convene and chair special meetings with the service authorities, the contractor, subcontractors and other parties related to his work.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
- Act positively and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Senior Resident Engineer and the project safety representatives.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering.
- Fresh graduates with internship experience
- Basic understanding of construction and engineering drawings.
- Good English communication and organizational skills.
- Driving license is required.
- Computer Microsoft Software is required.
- AI knowledge is a preferred.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Basic understanding of projects scheduling and contract milestones.
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi service authorities and permitting.
- Knowledge of site construction activities and engineering review.
- Basic understanding of stakeholders interface and logistics.
