Summary

Tarshid is hiring a Project Engineer in Riyadh to support project execution, field visits and technical reviews. The role includes assisting with project planning reports and supervising ESCOs during retrofit design, installation and commissioning. The engineer will also support oversight of operations and maintenance services, performance guarantees and coordination with government entities and internal Finance and Legal teams. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 0–2 years of project management experience; CEM or CMVP certification is preferred. Professional proficiency in English and fluency in Arabic are required.

Main Responsibilities:

Project management support

- Support Project Manager in project execution, field visits, and technical project review.

- Compile inputs to prepare project planning reports.

Retrofit implementation support

- Support in supervising the ESCOs responsible for the design, installation, and commissioning of projects.

- Support in the Project Manager in managing the relationship with the Government entity.

Post-retrofit support

- Support the supervision of O&M services provided.

- Support the Project Manager in ensuring that the performance guarantees are satisfied.

- Liaise with Finance / Legal to resolve any issues.

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or any related field

- CEM / CMVP certification is preferred.

Experience & Skills

- 0 - 2 years in a project management role with responsibility for the performance of contractors; preferably with retrofit

experience within ESCO (or EPC) industry experience

-Interpersonal: Professional proficiency of English required; fluency in Arabic is a must; effective communication skills

(written and verbal); effective time management skills; ability to manage concurrent projects

-Technical: Technical knowledge relating to building retrofits and potential savings
