Job Purpose
To perform end‑to‑end purchasing and logistics support activities by sourcing, ordering, receiving, and documenting goods and services within approved budgets, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, logistics requirements, and safety regulations.
Principal Accountabilities
- Conduct market searches to source goods and services with optimal quality, price, and delivery terms.
- Execute procure‑to‑pay activities in compliance with procurement policies, BU/Department requirements, and approved budgets; Process purchase orders based on approved purchase requisitions.
- Coordinate logistics and deliveries with suppliers and BU/Departments to ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods and services.
- Create Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and Service Entry Sheets (SES) immediately upon delivery/completion and follow up for BU/Department approval.
- Create and process purchase orders (PO) in accordance with the approved purchase requisition from the designated BU/Department (whenever needed or requested by the line manager).
- Collect, inspect, and verify purchased goods for quantity, quality, and condition; report discrepancies, damages, or defects promptly.
- Escalate procurement or logistics issues, delivery delays, or disputes immediately to the supervisor to prevent operational impact.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of purchases, expenditures, GRNs, SESs, invoices, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date procurement and expenditure database for cash and credit purchases.
- Prepare and submit purchase and procurement reports as required.
- Maintain professional relationships with key vendors to support effective procurement and delivery.
- Perform procurement‑related logistics using the assigned vehicle while ensuring the safety of passengers, goods, and other road users; Ensure vehicle registration, insurance, and driving licence remain valid and available at all times.
- Perform basic preventive vehicle maintenance and report mechanical or safety issues immediately.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable traffic rules and regulations always.
Required Qualifications
Education - Diploma or Bachelor Degree in relevant field.
Specialization - Automotive experience with Valid Qatar Driving licensce.
Years of Experience - 3 to 5 Years.
