- Job Summary
The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through manual and automated testing. The role involves working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define quality standards, identify defects early, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and/or mobile applications.
• Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, system, UAT).
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to clarify requirements.
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Provide clear and timely feedback on product quality and risks.
• Support UAT and production releases when required.
- Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Testing.
• Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing.
• Experience testing web-based and/or mobile applications.
