Overview Of The Role:
The Sales Assistant is responsible for generating sales and delivering a positive customer experience particularly in the market hall area. This includes operational responsibilities assigned by the shopkeeper such as arranging products and maintaining the sales floor. Success in this role involves meeting sales targets, adhering to company policies, and contributing to a positive and organized store environment. The role is integral to supporting store operations and providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain store standards and cleanliness to create a sparkling, organized environment.
- Exhibit a positive attitude toward merchandise, the brand, and the company.
- Complete duties assigned by the shopkeeper.
- Meet or exceed weekly sales targets.
- Participate in all market hall inventories and attend store meetings and related functions.
- Adhere to designated work schedule with punctuality.
- Collaborate flexibly with peers and management to accomplish duties.
- Follow IKEA policies and procedures thoroughly.
- Create a positive first impression for customers with an energetic attitude and adherence to dress code.
- Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile.
- Provide customers with current relevant information.
