Purpose and Scope of Position:

Support Revenue Manager in maximizing revenue and profits for multiple outlets/departments through the strategic coordination of revenue management processes and procedures, responsible for driving the continued development and growth and optimal distribution of the properties.
Assist Revenue Manager in developing, executing and measuring the effectiveness of specific inventory and pricing strategies to optimize revenues.
Help Revenue Manager to monitor all distribution channels to ensure effective selling through inventory management, market mix and pricing. Communicates demand patterns to Management team and assists with forecasting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Operational Teams through day-to-day operations in the implementation of strategies to achieve Team and organisational goals
- Ensure yield exemptions are investigated and analysed and new business opportunities are identified
- Gather and analyse statistics, yield information and all other relevant information in order to identify potential new business, markets and trends, and to minimise risk
- Monitor three-month market segment outlook and maintain on a daily basis by analysing actual results versus forecast for plan achievement
- Conduct ongoing competitor price and product analyses to ensure proper rate positioning and product offering relative to competition. Actively participate in all pricing decisions for transient, group, and wholesale segments. Facilitate Weekly Sales and Revenue Strategy meetings.
- Complete and analyse month-end reports
- Ensure effective information gathering and analysis is conducted in order to identify and maximise on all possible opportunities and minimise any risks
- Ensure Team Members have current knowledge for all relevant processes, policies and promotions, as necessary, to perform their duties
- Support Revenue Manager in the Design and implement a continuous pro-active, selling strategy and action plan, which will drive the optimization of club sales profits.
- Oversee the maximization of revenues through the combined efforts of the Reservations, Sales & MICE Sales Departments.
- Implementation of a revenue reporting process including daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
- Support Revenue Manager in revenue maximization and optimisation of overall Club outlet & sales revenue through development and implementation of effective inventory and pricing strategies based on future demand forecast, current trends and historical data to drive market share.
- Checking forthcoming events and exhibitions and updating the property and channel management systems.
- Perform competitor checks and report as appropriate
- Closely monitor competitive pricing and understand impact of relative pricing decisions on property performance.
- Strategy support with essential administrative duties and fulfil reporting and analysis tasks.
- Forecast, review and analyse the market and demand, pertinent data and provide monthly reports and evaluate distribution channel performance.
- Actively participate in business planning for any other revenue generating department
Ancillary Duties:
In line with the Company’s drive for continual improvement and the involvement with General Operations, the revenue executive is required to participate in various extra activities contributing to the growth of the club culture including attendance at major event and various evening functions.
Quality Responsibilities:
- Standards within the Quality Policy document and Club’s operations Manual. Achievement of quality goals. Compliance with the statement of values. This may include periodical audits and data collections.
- Aware of Dubai Golf Mission, Vision and Values. Will be responsible to adopt the 4 Service Steps throughout serving internal and external customers.
IT Security Awareness:
- Read, Understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl.
- Co-operate, co-ordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
- Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.
- All Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the IT Service Desk.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
SUPPORTIVE SKILLS
Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Administration, Business, Statistics, Marketing, Finance or a relevant field of work preferred.
Positive attitude and good communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
Two years revenue management or yield experience required. Strong analytical skills.
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
In-depth understanding of tools, spreadsheets, statistical methods for analyzing data.
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Knowledge of hospitality operations, including marketing plans, preparation of revenue reports
Ability to use PMS, reservation and revenue management systems to forecast and implement optimal strategies
Ability to use Powerpoint and basic Photo/Images editing tools
Effective complaint handling and
a very good listening skills
Excellent command of English communication, both written and verbal
