Job Description
- Conduct regular patrols of guest areas, public areas, back-of-house areas, parking facilities, and other designated locations.
- Monitor hotel entrances, exits, access points, and restricted areas.
- Ensure that only authorized individuals have access to restricted areas.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, and guest or colleague concerns.
- Monitor and report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, unauthorized access, or unusual behavior.
- Assist guests and colleagues in security-related matters while maintaining a professional and courteous approach.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain daily security logs.
- Coordinate with the CCTV Operator and Security Control Room regarding security incidents and observations.
- Assist in emergency situations, including fire alarms, evacuations, medical emergencies, and other incidents, in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Conduct inspections of doors, emergency exits, fire equipment, and other security-sensitive areas and report any irregularities.
- Support the investigation of incidents by providing relevant information and cooperating with authorized departments.
- Control and monitor the movement of employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Ensure that lost and found items are handled and recorded according to hotel policy.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding guest information, hotel operations, security incidents, and investigations.
- Complete all required security checklists, logs, and reports accurately and on time.
- Follow all hotel security, safety, fire prevention, and emergency procedures.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Security Supervisor or Security Management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a security role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Basic knowledge of security procedures, emergency response, and fire safety.
- Good observation and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies or challenging situations.
- Physically fit and able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete security reports and records.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
