The role serves as Electrical Discipline Technical Authority on behalf of the Discipline Lead and is responsible for technically sound, compliant and reliable solutions. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and 10 years of relevant experience in large building and civil infrastructure projects. Knowledge of local and international codes and standards, project time, cost and quality management, and fluency in English are required; Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is preferred. The position is in Doha, Qatar.

Primary Purpose of the Job
Serve as the Electrical Discipline Technical Authority, on behalf of the Discipline Lead, providing technical governance, engineering expertise and project support across assigned projects and ad hoc activities. Deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions that ensure technical integrity, compliance and reliability, while achieving project objectives related to safety, schedule and cost.
Required Experience and Skills
- 10 years relevant electrical engineering experience in large building and civil infrastructure projects.
- Skill / knowledge of local and international codes, standards and regulations
- Experience of managing time, cost and quality in engineering projects within multiple project environment.
- Good Communications and Presentation skills and be fluent in English.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in discipline engineering
