Job Description:
Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Facade Specialist . This key role requires in-depth expertise in complex façade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, and glazing. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record in leading large-scale façade projects and delivering innovative, sustainable, and technically robust solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
Provide technical leadership and oversight for all façade engineering activities, ensuring adherence to industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
Lead the development of innovative façade solutions, considering factors such as aesthetics, energy efficiency, and durability.
Oversee the design, review, and approval of engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Manage the façade engineering team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, construction teams, and client representatives to ensure seamless integration of façade systems.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular quality audits and reviews to identify and address potential issues.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the façade engineering team.
Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Represent Parsons at project meetings and presentations, demonstrating technical expertise and leadership skills.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
Minimum of 10 years of experience in façade engineering, with landscape works support a high-quality public realm.
Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
In-depth knowledge of façade design standards, codes, and regulations, including AISC, AISI, and local codes.
Experience with structural analysis software and other advanced engineering tools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
