What you'll do
You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:
- You will be responsible for assisting in the overseeing of the Housekeeping Operations to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
- You are responsible to assist the Assistant Executive Housekeeper in the daily operation of the Housekeeping Department and guide and develop a committed multicultural team to ensure the impeccable Dorchester standards are met in all areas.
- Assists in the oversight of the daily shift operations of Housekeeping. Works with colleagues to ensure property guestrooms, public space and colleagues' areas are clean and well maintained.
- Completes inspections and holds people accountable for corrective action.
- Ensuring guest and colleague satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.
- You’ll also participate in the management of the department’s controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.

- You will be able to comprehend P&L statements, payroll and purchasing systems to assist in the financial management of the department.
- Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong guest service ethic.
- English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
- You will have a least 2 years experiences in a similar position in a luxury 5-star brand.
- Middle East experience would be advantageous.
