Job Description

**Responsibilities:**

  • Responsible for the overall management and administration of high-rise construction projects, establishing project-specific objectives, policies, and protocols aligned with PMC standards and best practices, with particular emphasis on vertical construction methodologies and multi-story coordination.
  • Provides strategic management and guidance to subordinate managers and supervisors, enforces company and project policies, and serves as the primary liaison between AECOM, clients, and design teams on complex high-rise developments, leveraging deep expertise in vertical construction challenges.
  • Oversees all facets of high-rise project construction to ensure compliance with design specifications, budget parameters, and schedule requirements through subordinate managers, supervisors, and trade partners; applies design background to coordinate design-build integration and resolve design-related construction challenges specific to multi-story environments.
  • Administers projects throughout the complete lifecycle—from pre-construction budgeting and scheduling through design coordination, procurement, shop drawing development, RFI management, construction execution, space turnover, and contract closeout. Manages design coordination meetings and ensures seamless integration between design intent and field execution across multiple floors and phased construction sequences.
  • Maintains significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned high-rise construction projects while expertly managing the complexities inherent to vertical construction, including vertical logistics planning, material hoisting coordination, safety protocols for multi-story environments, and sophisticated multi-phase coordination typical of PMC-managed high-rise developments.
  • Coordinates with design teams and consultants to address constructability issues specific to high-rise construction, identify value engineering opportunities, and manage design modifications while maintaining project schedule and budget integrity across all vertical phases.

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification
  • LEED accreditation or sustainability certification
  • Experience with vertical logistics planning and complex multi-phase coordination
  • Background in design disciplines (architecture or engineering) with construction application
  • Experience managing projects with AECOM or similar large design/engineering firms
  • Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and integrated project delivery methods
  • Track record of successful value engineering and constructability problem-solving
