The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.
Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.
The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.
Job Purpose
To ensure the reliability, availability, and safe operation of mechanical production equipment through effective preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement, while minimizing downtime and optimizing maintenance costs.
Key Accountability Areas
Maintenance Execution & Technical Support:
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment breakdowns.
- Provide technical support during critical breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with OEMs and suppliers for technical support, repairs, and spare parts.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans, inspections, and checklists.
- Monitor equipment condition and identify potential failures.
- Analyze recurring failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and equipment records.
Spare Parts & Technical Support:
- Identify critical spare parts to ensure equipment availability.
- Evaluate spare parts and coordinate with suppliers for procurement.
- Support alternative supplier identification to improve availability and reduce costs.
Technical Expertise & Troubleshooting:
- Read and interpret hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems, rotating equipment, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, valves, and conveyors.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Support equipment modifications and reliability improvements.
Maintenance Coordination & Reliability:
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production to minimize downtime.
- Prioritize maintenance tasks based on equipment criticality and production needs.
- Coordinate specialized maintenance activities with contractors and service providers.
Safety & Quality:
- Perform maintenance activities in accordance with safety procedures and LOTO requirements.
- Ensure maintenance work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
