Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complete MEP activities (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) from project initiation to handover.
- Oversee site execution, ensuring works are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
- Review and approve MEP shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Ensure compliance with UAE local authority requirements (DEWA, ADDC, DM, DCD, etc.).
- Prepare project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion within budget.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and procurement activities related to MEP works.
- Identify project risks, resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to company standards.
- Attend progress meetings and prepare detailed reports for management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
- 15+ years of MEP construction experience with 5+ years as Project Manager at a Tier 1 UAE MEP contractor.
- Proven experience in Villa and High-Rise Building projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and integrated MEP systems.
- Hands-on experience in site execution and project coordination.
- Thorough understanding of UAE construction standards and authority approvals.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.
Preferred:
- PMP certification or equivalent.
- Immediate or short notice availability.
