Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planning Manager - Site to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of site planning for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and timelines
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation and workflow efficiency
- Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery
- Implement and manage project control systems to monitor progress, costs, and quality
- Provide regular status reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders
- Lead and mentor a team of planning professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants to resolve planning-related issues and ensure project success
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and safety requirements
- Utilize advanced planning tools and techniques to optimize site logistics and workflow
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify potential bottlenecks or challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in site planning or construction management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with resource allocation and optimization techniques
- Strong knowledge of risk management, budgeting, and cost control in large-scale projects
- Excellent understanding of construction industry regulations and best practices
- Demonstrated expertise in site logistics and workflow optimization
- Familiarity with environmental and safety compliance requirements in the construction industry
