Senior Recruitment Executive

Role Purpose

The Recruitment Executive manages end-to-end recruitment across the organization, with a focus on media roles. The role requires a Media background to understand the needs of media and technical teams.

The Recruitment Executive works closely with hiring managers on sourcing, screening and interview coordination. The goal is timely, compliant and high-quality hiring, with a strong focus on UAE National talent.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Manage the full recruitment cycle from requisition approval to offer stage for assigned roles.
• Post job openings on internal and external platforms (company careers page, LinkedIn, job boards, and government portals where applicable).
• Source media talent such as producers, directors, presenters, editors, camera operators, journalists and content creators.
• Use Media industry networks, LinkedIn, databases, referrals and talent pools to build an active pipeline.
• Screen CVs, portfolios and showreels, and conduct initial screening interviews in Arabic and English.

Hiring Manager & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Act as the main point of contact between HR, hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Provide hiring managers with shortlists, candidate insights and recruitment progress updates.
• Advise hiring managers on media talent availability, market trends and realistic hiring timelines.

Candidate Experience & Communication

• Manage all candidate communications professionally and on time across the recruitment lifecycle.
• Ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience, particularly for UAE National candidates.
• Communicate interview outcomes, next steps and offer-related information in coordination with HR leadership.

Recruitment Systems & Reporting

• Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring candidate data is accurate and complete.
• Update interview trackers and recruitment dashboards daily.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly recruitment reports.
• Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, source of hire, pipeline health and hiring volumes.

Onboarding & Hiring Support

• Support HR in preparing onboarding documentation and pre-employment requirements.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover from recruitment to onboarding.

Employer Branding & Recruitment Events

• Support and participate in recruitment events, job fairs, career days and hiring campaigns.
• Promote the organization as an employer of choice in the media industry.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies, UAE labor law and data protection regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of candidate and organizational information at all times.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, tools and candidate engagement.
• Contribute to talent pipeline development and future workforce planning initiatives.
• Any additional related tasks assigned by the line manager.

Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Media or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Native or fluent Arabic, plus strong professional English (spoken and written).
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple roles at the same time.
