ABOUT THE ROLE
At EPI as Sheet Metal Senior Technician, you will be responsible producing sheet metal parts as per job card sequence, work instructions and completing the task allocated as per the shift plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform process on the product in time per approved working documents complying with all requirements.
- Perform and report periodic performance checks of equipment and Implement Kaizens, 6 S.
- Withdraw tools for use and keep the tools in assigned respective storage after use in proper way.
- Participates actively in TPM activity and maintain respective equipment as per TPM guidelines.
- Ensure that product meets the drawing requirements.
- Provide inputs on carrying out of complex operations, Identification of defects, rectification.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- ITI or Diploma or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Aerospace industry.
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, industrial environments.
- Knowledge in Lean tools and Techniques, Advanced in Quality Focus and Technology platform (SAP - function specific module) and software (MS Office)
- Ability to read and understand the documents to complete the task of Sheet Metal Processes meeting the requirements.
- Hands-on Experience in Sheet Metal Processes like, Hand forming, Hand Dressing, Check & Straightening, Manual cutting and drilling etc.
- Basic knowledge in sheet metal processes like routing, deburring, press brake forming, manual rolling, fluid cell forming, rubber press forming.
