Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer (Civil / Architectural) to join our contracting and construction company.
The candidate will lead day-to-day site execution of civil, structural and finishing works, manage subcontractors, and ensure that works are delivered safely, to specification, on schedule and within budget on fast-track building projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum 8–10 years of site experience in building construction within the contracting sector.
- Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership.
- Proven experience in structural works (cast-in-situ and precast), masonry and finishing works for commercial, residential or hospitality projects.
- Strong ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, shop drawings and specifications.
- Experience in managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating site interfaces with MEP works.
- Good knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC), quality and safety requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and progress reporting tools.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise and control daily site activities for civil, structural and finishing works.
- Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and the project schedule.
- Direct and coordinate subcontractors, allocate work areas and monitor their productivity and manpower.
- Prepare and review look-ahead programs, daily and weekly progress reports and site records.
- Coordinate with the consultant, MEP engineers and other disciplines to resolve interfaces and site issues.
- Raise inspection requests (IRs/WIRs) and attend inspections with QA/QC and the consultant.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals and RFIs related to civil and architectural works.
- Verify subcontractor quantities and support the QS team in preparing interim payment applications.
- Enforce site safety rules and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior site engineers and supervisors.
