ABOUT THE ROLE
Beacon Red is seeking for an Senior Specialist Project Planner. In this role, you will be the owner of the project schedule – building, maintaining and updating detailed plans, tracking progress against key milestones, and ensuring that complex, multi‑disciplinary projects are delivered on time. You will work closely with Senior Project Managers, engineers and wider stakeholders to coordinate tasks, resources and dependencies across the full project lifecycle
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring integrated project schedules and tracking project cost for C4ISR projects.
Break down work into tasks, durations and dependencies with project managers and engineers.
Track progress against key milestones and critical path; highlight delays and risks early.
Coordinate with engineering, operations and commercial teams to keep timelines realistic and current.
Prepare and present schedule reports, dashboards and “what‑if” scenarios for management.
Support change control, resource planning and risk/issue management from a schedule perspective.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field.
4–7 years’ experience in project planning / scheduling, ideally in defence, aerospace, C4ISR, or other mission‑critical environments.
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (building, baselining and updating complex schedules).
Good understanding of project management concepts (WBS, critical path, dependencies, baselines, earned value is a plus).
Strong analytical and reporting skills; comfortable working with data and timelines.
Excellent communication skills in English; able to work with multidisciplinary and international teams.
- Preferably working on defence, military, or government technology programmes.
