Software & AI Engineer Digital Transformation and Process Excellence Dedicated to driving digital transformation, AI-enabled business solutions, workflow automation, and operational excellence across Gas Services Middle East. The role will play a critical part in modernizing business processes, developing intelligent software solutions, improving data governance, structuring organizational knowledge, and enabling data-driven decision making through AI, automation, and digital technologies. The successful candidate will lead strategic initiatives focused on AI agents, process automation, workflow digitalization, enterprise data integration, knowledge management, business intelligence, and software development. The individual will work closely with regional and global stakeholders to simplify complex business processes, improve execution quality, automate manual activities, strengthen governance, and develop scalable digital solutions that enhance productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, and operational performance across the Gas Services value chain. This position report directly to the Middle East Hub based in Dubai, UAE.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Design, develop, and deploy software solutions, AI applications, and intelligent digital tools that support operational excellence, project execution, quality management, and business transformation initiatives. Lead the development of AI-powered agents and digital assistants that automate workflows, improve decision-making, guide users through business processes, and enhance organizational productivity.
- Drive digitalization of business processes by transforming manual activities into automated, scalable, and governed workflows across Sales, Project Management, Quality, Service Operations, Tooling, and Field Services functions. Develop and maintain enterprise workflow platforms that integrate business processes, approvals, escalations, action tracking, lessons learned management, and quality governance requirements.
- Establish and maintain robust data structures, data models, taxonomies, and governance frameworks that enable effective use of operational, quality, lessons learned, NCC, and business performance data. Lead integration of enterprise systems including OnePM, quality databases, lessons learned repositories, reporting platforms, business applications, and AI solutions to create a connected digital ecosystem.
- Develop AI-enabled knowledge management solutions that convert historical experience, operational learnings, quality events, and project information into structured, reusable business knowledge assets. Build operational dashboards, business intelligence tools, and performance reporting solutions that provide visibility to key stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making.
- Drive AI prompt engineering, search optimization, natural language interfaces, data enrichment, and intelligent retrieval capabilities to improve system usability and business value. Ensure digital solutions adhere to defined governance standards, cybersecurity requirements, data quality principles, compliance expectations, and lifecycle management processes.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies, evaluate automation opportunities, and implement digital solutions that improve productivity, reduce waste, and strengthen execution quality. Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, user acceptance testing, and change management activities to ensure adoption and sustainable deployment of digital solutions.
- Continuously explore emerging AI technologies, automation platforms, and software engineering best practices to drive innovation and business improvement.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 3-4 years of experience in software development, AI solutions, workflow automation, digital transformation, or enterprise application development.
- Strong programming experience in modern software development technologies, APIs, integrations, automation platforms, cloud-based solutions, and enterprise applications. Experience designing and deploying AI solutions, knowledge management platforms, AI agents, intelligent assistants, search technologies, or machine learning applications.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data governance, information management, master data concepts, data quality frameworks, and structured knowledge repositories. • Experience developing workflow automation solutions, approval systems, process orchestration tools, and business process management platforms.
- Experience working with AI technologies including Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), intelligent search, and AI-assisted business solutions.
- Strong experience in Power BI, analytics platforms, dashboard development, reporting automation, and business intelligence solutions.
- Experience integrating enterprise platforms, databases, cloud services, APIs, and business applications into connected digital ecosystems. Understanding of Quality Management Systems, Project Management processes, Operational Excellence concepts, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Ability to convert business requirements into scalable software solutions and digital products that drive measurable business impact. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to translate complex business challenges into digital solutions. Experience collaborating with global stakeholders within matrix organizations and leading digital transformation initiatives across multiple business functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders. Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, Lean, Six Sigma, Product Management, or Digital Transformation methodologies would be considered an advantage.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
