UAEN - Software Engineer
The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing high-quality applications.
The Software Engineer also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop quality software and web applications
- Analyze and maintain existing software applications
- Design highly scalable, testable code
- Discover and fix programming bugs
- Write efficient, scalable, and well-designed code using core Java and enterprise frameworks.
- Design and build secure RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Perform unit and integration testing, troubleshoot issues, and execute code reviews.
- Work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases or caching layers (Redis).
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them via Kubernetes or cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
- 0-2 years’ experience development experience with programming languages
- Strong proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
- SQL database or relational database skills
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Hibernate.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and testing tools (JUnit, Mockito).
- Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication, and teamwork in an Agile/Scrum environment
