Duties and Responsibilities:
As Spa Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and practices and updating knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
- Continually focus on the rejuvenation of the spa experience.
- Spa treatments, exercise classes, and wellness facilities and equipment will be constantly assessed to remain relevant and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
- Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
- Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
Qualifications:
To execute the position of an Assistant Spa Manager, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results including the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years’ experience in similar luxury spas and health clubs with proven references. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
- Graduated or have a broad knowledge of anatomy and physiology, massage therapy, and beauty therapy at either NVQ, ITEC, or CIDESCO.
- Understanding and specialization of various beauty products, aesthetic appliances, their specifications, and uses. Knowledge in the use of facial, nail, or other beauty technology as required to fulfill spa treatments.
- Service-oriented with an eye for details.
- Self-motivated and energetic.
- Fluent in English; I understand that Arabic language is preferred.
