Role Overview
This is a front-row seat to the strategy that shapes the company. You'll sit at the centre of Group Strategy & Ventures, working directly with the CSO and founders on the decisions that set our direction:
- which products we build, and in what order
- which corridors and licences we pursue next
- how we position against the best players in payments and digital assets
- where we invest to gain traction in new markets
- how we grow sustainably over time
You won't be building slides in a vacuum. You'll be doing real analysis that gets acted on within weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build the analysis behind product-sequencing and market-entry decisions (e.g. corridor economics, licence pathways, competitive benchmarking against firms like Triple-A, BVNK, Fireblocks and Bridge).

- Turn regulatory frameworks (CBUAE payment token rules, VARA, MiCA, the GENIUS Act) into commercial strategy, not compliance memos.
- Model unit economics and business cases for new products (yield and vaults, lending, cross-border corridors) and partnerships.
- Support ventures, partnership, and M&A opportunities through screening, analysis, and diligence.
- Own competitive and market intelligence across EMEA, the US, and emerging markets in payments and digital assets.
- Prepare board, investor, and partner materials that stand up to scrutiny from sovereign funds and Tier 1 regulators.
What We're Looking For:
- 3 to 5 years of experience at a top-tier strategy consultancy or a Big 4 strategy or transactions practice.
- Genuinely strong problem structuring and quantitative modelling. You can go from a blank page to a defensible answer, fast.
- Clear, senior-grade written and verbal communication, and comfort in the room with founders, investors, and regulators.
- High agency and low ego. You'll own workstreams end to end at Series-B pace, and we're all hands-on.
Strong preferences
- Exposure to financial services, payments, fintech, or digital assets.
- GCC market knowledge; Arabic is a plus.
- Real curiosity about Stablecoins and regulated crypto infrastructure, beyond the headlines.
