NMDC Group is hiring a Surveyor to support project survey operations and help ensure construction work follows design specifications. Responsibilities include checking measurement discrepancies, supporting survey mobilization and deliverables, reporting issues that may affect survey work, and assisting with survey equipment installation and troubleshooting. The role is based in Mussafah, United Arab Emirates, and requires a bachelor’s degree in hydrography, marine or land surveying, geodetic engineering, or an equivalent field, plus at least 3 years of similar industry experience. English is required; Arabic and other languages are an asset.

Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in measurements
Assist the project survey team where possible (mobilization, calibrations, execution, deliverables, and project close out)
Report all activities that will possibly affect survey operations, to the Project Surveyor / Chief Surveyor
Follow policies and procedures for effective and efficient functioning of the project survey team on site
Work closely with Survey Department to ensure that construction projects adhere to design specifications
Take active steps in the preparation, standardization and maintenance of the Survey Guidelines and Procedures
Assist during the Installation and troubleshooting of survey equipment, hardware, and software
Ensure the safety of each employee, active participation to the safety program is a condition of each employee’s employment to achieve safer working environment

Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Hydrography, Marine or Land Survey, Geodetic Engineering or equivalent
Certification / Membership: Additional certifications and affiliations in Survey would be beneficial
Minimum 03 year experience in a similar role and industry
