Job Description
Job purpose: Lead technical delivery, engineering coordination and design management for civil and structural construction projects.
Key responsibilities
– Lead technical teams and coordinate engineering deliverables across projects.
– Review structural designs, calculations, shop drawings and construction methodologies.
– Manage design coordination, value engineering and technical risk mitigation.
– Resolve complex technical issues with consultants, designers and project teams.
– Monitor design submissions, approvals, technical queries and project milestones.
– Ensure compliance with applicable codes, specifications and project requirements.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
– 15–20+ years of relevant civil/structural construction experience.
– Strong technical leadership, design coordination and value-engineering experience.
– Demonstrated UAE/GCC construction experience and knowledge of local approval processes.
