Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Participate in structured internal and on-the-job training in DCS, SCADA, ESD, RTU, and other industrial control systems to develop technical skills.
- Support site service, project, and maintenance activities related to DCS, ESD and RTU/SCADA systems at customer locations.
- Assist Lead Engineers with basic design engineering, including system configuration, graphics development, cabinet design, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and related documentation.
- Support installation, system configuration, loop checking, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities under supervision.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and start-up activities.
- Develop practical knowledge of process instrumentation, control systems, electrical systems, and industrial automation technologies.
- Prepare basic technical reports and maintain accurate project and training records.
- Comply with Yokogawa and customer HSE, quality, and work procedures at all times.
- Perform other duties related to the training program as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Process Control, or a related discipline.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
- Omani national.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with limited relevant experience are preferred.
- Willingness to work at customer sites and project locations.
- Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and learning abilities.
