Visual Designer

Job Purpose

To manage the visual and conceptual direction of Air Arabia's Creative Unit and translate business, brand and marketing objectives into distinctive creative ideas. The role ensures the consistent development and execution of high-quality creatives and content across social media, digital platforms, radio and offline touchpoints (airport, inflight outdoor ads, print) while protecting and evolving the Air Arabia brand identity.

Key Result Responsibilities

• Develop original creative concepts for integrated brand campaigns, route launches, product communications, corporate milestones, and ongoing content initiatives, translating business and marketing briefs into compelling visual concepts, mood boards, storyboards, design systems, and presentation-ready proposals.
• Designs and produces high-quality final artwork across digital, social, print, outdoor, airport and onboard channels.
• Adapts and localizes master designs across formats, markets and languages, ensuring accurate bilingual Arabic and English layouts and typography.
• Aligns the art direction for photography, film, animation, illustration, graphic design and emerging content formats across all relevant channels.
• Protects and evolve Air Arabia's visual identity, ensuring consistent application across markets, languages, platforms, business units and customer touchpoints.
• Maintains high standards of creative craft, accuracy, clarity and brand consistency from initial concept through final delivery.
• Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Marketing, Social Media, Digital, Commercial, Customer Experience and market teams to deliver business and communication objectives.
• Maintains organized design files, templates and asset libraries, applying version control in line with studio processes.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of video editing, 2D, 3D and 4D animation, and motion graphics.
• Understanding of visual design principles, typography, color theory, layout and composition.
• Ability to develop creative concepts, mood boards and storyboards based on design briefs, market research and trends.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating campaign, brand and content design across digital and print channels is required.
• Knowledge of brand identity and the adaptation of creative materials across digital, social media, print and outdoor channels.
• Ability to prepare and adapt artwork for different formats and languages, including Arabic and English.
• Fluent in English & Arabic Languages.
• Ability to maintain design quality, accuracy and consistency while meeting project deadlines.
• Proficient is MS office tools.

Work Experience

• With 5+ years of experience in graphic or visual design within an in-house creative team, agency or recognized consumer brand.
• Exposure to art direction for photography or film, and experience in aviation, travel, hospitality or another fast-moving consumer industry, are preferred.
• Experience designing bilingual Arabic and English communications is essential.
