To provide prompt, professional, and courteous food and beverage service while creating memorable dining experiences for every guest. As a Hospitality Ambassador for Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, the Waitress is responsible for ensuring guests receive attentive, efficient, and personalized service that reflects the hotel's luxury standards.
The Waitress plays a key role in guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional service, maintaining product knowledge, and working closely with the Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth daily operations.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Please note this is not an exhaustive list. Team Members are expected to perform any reasonable duties requested by management to support hotel operations.

Guest Service

• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables where applicable.
• Present menus, explain menu items, daily specials, and beverage selections.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Serve food and beverages according to Tivoli service standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and refer complex matters to the Supervisor when necessary.
• Bid farewell to guests and thank them for visiting.

Operational Responsibilities

• Work closely with colleagues across all departments to ensure efficient service.
• Follow all hotel Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and service standards.
• Maintain assigned station in a clean, organized, and fully stocked condition.
• Complete opening, operating, and closing duties as assigned.
• Develop thorough knowledge of food menus, beverage lists, wine selections, and promotions.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately.
• Check with the Supervisor before leaving the assigned station.
• Assist with room service operations when required.
• Remove trays and service items from guest corridors promptly.
• Assist in clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables efficiently.
• Ensure all restaurant equipment and operating supplies are properly maintained.

Hygiene & Safety

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene.
• Follow all food safety and HACCP procedures.
• Comply with hotel health and safety regulations.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
• Handle guest room access professionally while respecting guest privacy.

Teamwork & Development

• Participate actively in departmental meetings and training sessions.
• Support colleagues during busy service periods.
• Continuously improve product knowledge and service techniques.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by management in line with operational requirements.
