Role Overview
As a Warehouse Associate at The Petshop, you will play a key role in the daily operations that ensure the seamless movement and organization of inventory. As part of our team in Warehouse, you'll work in an ONSITE environment dedicated to efficiency, safety, and a passion for pets. Your attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work will help us maintain an organized, safe, and productive facility.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily picking, packing, and putaway tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Ensure all picking and putaway is executed exactly as per system allocation bin locations.
- Accurately count stocks during GRN (Goods Receipt Note), putaway, picking, and cycle counts.
- Properly arrange stocks in accordance with standard procedures.
- Report any discrepancies in bin locations to the supervisor promptly.
- Uphold the quality of stock during picking and packing processes.
- Immediately inform supervisor of any unsafe acts or conditions identified in the warehouse.
- Meet daily targets for picking and packing with high accuracy.
Must have requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Excellent teamwork, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
