Educational background

• BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production/Automobile/Industrial Engineering or equivalent

Work experience required

• 0-2 years

Knowledge & skill requirements

• Knowledge in forecasting, production planning and inventory management principles.
• Knowledge in Six sigma, lean manufacturing and Kaizen principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Should be fluent in English.
• Excellent report generation skills.
• Proficiency in MS office packages.
• Good team working & collaboration skills.
• Exposure to 2D/3D drawings.
• Knowledge in SAP preferred.
• Strong analytical skills. Should be able to analyse data, understand production metrics and forecast future requirements.

Roles, responsibilities, and authorities:

• Creates monthly production plans based on business targets.
• Monitors stock of sub materials and creates purchase requests in SAP.
• Ensure availability of Knock-down (KD) parts and availability of materials required for production.
• Follow up and coordinate with supply chain division to ensure optimum material stock.
• Reporting production status and any production issues to management.
• Assist in preparing semi-annual or annual production plans.
• Work closely with production team to ensure compliance of production plans for new models.
• Revise production schedule when required.
• Prepare daily and weekly production reports.
