A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Managing the day-to-day operation of all hotel technology systems, networks, hardware, and software.
Assisting with the pre-opening setup, installation, testing, and commissioning of IT infrastructure and systems.
Providing technical support and troubleshooting for hotel colleagues and departments.
Monitoring system performance and ensuring minimal downtime across hotel operations.
Supporting cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance with corporate IT policies and standards.
Managing user accounts, system access, and IT asset inventories.
Assisting with vendor coordination, system upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Supporting hotel systems including PMS, POS, IPTV, telephony, Wi-Fi, and back-office applications.
Maintaining accurate IT documentation, records, and backup procedures.
Assisting in the development and implementation of technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant IT experience, including experience in an IT supervisory or specialist role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of networking, server administration, cybersecurity, and IT support services.
- Experience with hotel systems such as PMS, POS, and other hospitality applications is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
